The Vice President of Human Resources (VP of HR) will oversee all human resources functions for our corporate hospitality division. This position requires a strategic thinker with a proven track record in human resource management and the ability to align organizational goals with talent management strategies. The ideal candidate will foster a culture of excellence, promote employee engagement, and ensure that our workforce is equipped to deliver exceptional service in the hospitality industry.
Key Responsibilities :
Develop and implement HR strategies that support the company's goals and enhance the employee experience.
Serve as a strategic partner to the executive team, providing insights and recommendations on HR-related issues.
Lead talent acquisition and workforce planning initiatives to attract and retain top talent in the hospitality industry.
Oversee employee development programs, including training, performance management, and succession planning.
Ensure compliance with labor laws and regulations and manage risk to the organization regarding HR practices.
Manage compensation and benefits programs to ensure competitiveness and alignment with industry standards.
Promote a diverse and inclusive workplace, fostering an environment where all employees feel valued and engaged.
Resolve complex employee relations issues and ensure consistent HR practices across all sites.
Develop and implement HR metrics and analytics to measure the effectiveness of HR programs and initiatives.
Lead change management efforts and support organizational development as needed.
Requirements
Qualifications :
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources Management, Business Administration, or a related field; or HR certification (e.g., SHRM-SCP, SPHR) preferred.
10+ years of progressive HR experience, with at least 5 years in a leadership role, preferably in the hospitality or service industry.
Strong knowledge of labor laws, regulations, and best practices in human resource management.
Proven ability to develop HR strategies that align with business objectives.
Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build relationships at all levels of the organization.
Experience in managing large-scale HR projects and initiatives.
