  • What You Will Get To Do :

    The Vice President, Product Management will facilitate the development of the product strategy, detailed planning, and flawless execution for a subset of our comprehensive suite of healthcare platforms, innovative solutions, and population health programs. This role is pivotal in enabling innovation and growth, and the market expansion of our offerings. This high-impact position requires healthcare and claims processing experience, as well as product life cycle and people management.

  • Establish and execute the product strategy for a subset of SS&C Health Division key healthcare and population health products. The ability to balance current market expectations with future state innovation will set you apart.
  • Build cross-functional alignment with leadership and peers to create product roadmaps and execution plans that maximize organizational resources and market opportunities.
  • Provide leadership, direction and mentorship for direct and indirect reports, including product managers. Inspirational leadership to drive innovation and execution in a fast-paced environment. Strategic foresight, to position products for market demands.
  • Foster a culture of innovation , collaboration and professional growth within the product management team. Encourage creativity to continue SS&C Health Promote a high-performance environment where excellence is the norm.
  • Guarantee that all product management processes and practices are aligned with best-in-class methodology.
  • Understanding the Voice of the Client (VOC), their environment and challenges, then translating this knowledge into actionable product strategy.
  • Create and distribute product metrics and ensure metrics are communicated and understood by all internally.
  • What You Will Bring :

  • Extensive experience in product management, with a focus on healthcare and the pharmacy benefits management (PBM) space. Capability to lead and direct product strategy execution, balancing market demands with strategic growth opportunities.
  • Proven experience in managing and mentoring professionals at all levels, encouraging skill acquisition and professional growth. Proven track record of motivating teams and driving high employee engagement.
  • Technical acumen paired with a track record in scaling SaaS products and delivering complex initiatives on time. Experience in developing solutions with Health Plan & PBM staff.
  • Proven experience in fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration and continuous improvement within a product management team. Excellent communication skills, executive presence and collaborative approach to build cross-functional relationships and engage effectively with senior leaders and strategic customers.
  • An inquisitive, problem-solving mindset. Data-driven with intellectual curiosity, a predisposition to explore and learn, acquire data and create and test hypotheses across different verticals and industries. An ability to distil key information from extensive research; ability to argue, summarize, and illustrate analyses in a presentation format; ability to make the complex simple.
  • Proven ability to prioritize, share information efficiently, meet deadlines and deliver in a multi-project, fast-paced environment with changing priorities. Experience crafting executive briefings for senior leaders, demonstrating superb presentation skills.
  • A collaborative self-starter, able to navigate complex corporate and cross-functional team environments and dynamics.
