About the Role
The Company is seeking a Vice President of Manufacturing and Operations to join their successful and growing team. The role involves managing all manufacturing activities for both small and large-scale clinical and commercial facilities. The successful candidate will be directly accountable for the daily department activities, lead long-range operating plans, and ensure that all operations are in line with the production schedule and budget. This pivotal position requires a hands-on strategic decision-maker with a strong background in manufacturing, particularly in the areas of protein expression and large molecule experience. The VP will also be responsible for building and leading a high-performing manufacturing organization, supporting new product development, and ensuring smooth tech transfers and process improvements.
Applicants must have an advanced degree in engineering or a related scientific discipline, with a minimum of 20 years' experience in manufacturing from concept to commercialization. A proven track record of cross-functional engagement and at least 10 years of people management experience are essential. The position is ideal for a professional who is ready to take on the challenge of a role that is both strategic and operational, with a focus on driving consistent, reliable, safe, and compliant manufacturing operations.
