With a legacy spanning over four decades, the firm has built a reputation for acquiring, developing, and managing high-quality real estate projects. Their deep expertise and commitment to excellence have resulted in a robust portfolio, with a particular focus on the rapidly growing Charlotte MSA.
As part of their continued growth and expansion, the firm is seeking a Vice President of Development to spearhead new development initiatives, while also overseeing the evolution of their existing multifamily, office, light industrial, and land portfolio.
Key Responsibilities :
Development & Construction Oversight :
- Lead the development process across multiple project types, including tenant upfits for office spaces and full-scale multifamily and mixed-use developments.
- Collaborate closely with senior leadership to generate creative solutions and approaches to development challenges, driving the vision for each project while ensuring feasibility and success.
- Oversee the construction management process from start to finish, ensuring adherence to timelines, quality standards, and budgets.
- Manage the bidding process for both large and small-scale construction projects, ensuring cost-effective solutions and reliable contractor selection.
- Guide and delegate responsibilities to the internal lower-level construction management team, while remaining actively involved in key decisions.
