We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Vice President of Sales to join our executive team and drive the growth of our sales division.
Job Overview :
The Vice President of Sales will be responsible for leading and developing a high-performance sales team to drive business growth and maximize revenue. This leadership role requires a results-oriented individual with a deep understanding of the restoration and construction industry, strong sales acumen, and a proven track record of managing and motivating teams. The VP of Sales will work closely with the executive team to set strategic goals, identify growth opportunities, and build lasting relationships with clients.
Key Responsibilities :
- Sales Strategy Development & Execution :
- Develop and implement comprehensive sales strategies to achieve business growth and revenue targets.
- Identify new market opportunities, target customers, and industries to expand the company's reach.
- Collaborate with senior leadership to ensure sales initiatives align with overall company goals.
- Team Leadership & Development :
- Lead, mentor, and manage the sales team, including setting clear performance expectations, conducting regular performance reviews, and providing coaching and development opportunities.
- Establish a positive sales culture that encourages collaboration, accountability, and high performance.
- Implement training programs to ensure the sales team is knowledgeable about services, market trends, and competitive landscape.
- Client Relationship Management :
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with key clients, general contractors, adjusters, property owners, and other industry stakeholders.
- Attend industry events and networking opportunities to strengthen client relationships and expand the company's presence in the market.
- Oversee the proposal and bidding process, ensuring customer needs are met and competitive advantages are maximized.
- Sales Performance & Reporting :
- Monitor and analyze sales performance metrics, identifying trends, gaps, and opportunities for improvement.
- Prepare and present regular sales reports to the executive team, providing insights into progress toward targets, challenges, and growth opportunities.
- Use data-driven insights to drive decision-making and refine sales strategies.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration :
- Work closely with the operations and marketing teams to ensure alignment between sales efforts and service delivery.
- Collaborate with the finance department to develop accurate pricing strategies, budgets, and sales forecasts.
- Ensure a smooth handoff of new projects to the operations team, maintaining client satisfaction throughout the lifecycle of the project.
- Market Research & Competitive Analysis :
- Stay up-to-date with market trends, competitor activities, and industry regulations.
- Continuously evaluate the company's sales approach, adjusting strategies based on changing market dynamics.
