The Glendale Union High School District is advertising for the administrative position of High School Assistant Principal.

Qualifications

1. Valid Arizona Secondary and Administrative certificates.

Certificate must be obtained prior to July 1, 2025)

2. A Master's degree from an accredited college or university.

3. Appropriate teaching experience.

Process for Applying

Applicants need to submit the following materials to Human Resources by 12 : 00 p.m. on Friday, February 28, 2025 :

a. Letter of interest

b. Administrative application form which must be completed at the District web site (www.guhsdaz.org)

c. A copy of your transcripts and administrative certificate

d. Three current letters of reference

e. Resume or vita

f. Written response to screening questions - see attached.

2. By February 28, 2025, a paper screening will be conducted. At the conclusion of the screening, successful candidates will be contacted to schedule an interview and in-basket activities. All in-district candidates will be interviewed.

3. Clinical supervision in-basket activities will be scheduled for Monday, March 3, 2025 at 3 : 30 p.m. in Annex One at the District Office.

4. Panel interviews will be scheduled for Tuesday, March 4, 2025.

5. Finalists will be interviewed by Principals date and time to be determined.

About the Position

1. This is a twelve-month position.

2. Salary range is $92,935- $114,965.

3. Responsibility is to assist the Principal in managing the assigned school by use of leadership, supervisory, and administrative skills in order to promote the educational development of each student.
