THE WORK

Candidate will synthesize information gathered from various sources into coherent thoughts and statements to develop technical publication content such as : general descriptions, controls and indicators, theory of operation, preventative and scheduled maintenance procedures, and other sections of the publications as required by the project. Candidate will correctly tag within the SGML / XML guidelines to develop content. Candidate will be able to correct tagging issues in accordance with the Military Standard for the project being worked. The candidate will primarily be supporting the Advanced Gunnery Trainer System.

Desired skills

• Experience developing technical publications to Naval Maintenance, Repair and Overhaul Program.
• Experience writing technical content for procedure manuals, service manuals, user’s guides and related technical publications that describes the installation, operation, and maintenance of electronic, electrical, mechanical, and other equipment.
• Experience in XML or SGML authoring and publishing.
• Experience successfully supporting multiple projects and teams.
• Experience with content formatting and publishing applications .
• Experience utilizing Citrix Storefront.
