We are looking for an experienced Thermal Engineer to play a key role in the design, analysis, and implementation of thermal control systems for spacecraft. This position is focused on the full product lifecycle, from conceptual design and prototyping to final production and testing. You will be primarily using Thermal Desktop to perform detailed thermal analysis and contribute to ensuring the performance and reliability of our spacecraft systems.
Key Responsibilities :
Lead the thermal design, analysis, and optimization for spacecraft projects throughout the entire product lifecycle.
Utilize Thermal Desktop for simulation, modeling, and analysis of thermal performance under varying space conditions.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including structural, mechanical, and systems engineers, to integrate thermal solutions seamlessly.
Support testing phases, including thermal vacuum testing and thermal balance tests, ensuring compliance with mission requirements.
Develop and maintain thermal models, validating and correlating them against empirical test data.
Create documentation for design reviews, reports, and technical presentations.
Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior team members as needed.
Qualifications :
Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or a related field.
3+ years of experience in thermal engineering, with a focus on space applications.
Proficiency in Thermal Desktop (required) and related thermal analysis tools.
Solid knowledge of spacecraft thermal control systems, including radiators, insulation, and heat pipes.
Experience with CAD software for design integration.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary environment and adapt to dynamic project needs.
