Job Summary

Join the excitement of the CSUSB Game Day Pack! CSUSB is currently seeking Game Operations student employees to help with a variety of duties including setup and breakdown of athletic contests. Additionally, the employee will assist with game management during athletic contests. Employees will work during games operating the scoreboard, ball shagging, floor sweeping, running the ticket box office, playing game music, etc. The employee will assist in assigned duties that will help other departments (i.e. marketing, media relations, etc.) complete their work. Students will also perform other duties as assigned.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to :

• Set-up and tear down of all home athletic events
• Set-up and clean-up of hospitality area
• Ticket taking
• Ushering and field / court security
• Field / court staff (ball persons, etc.)
• Flexibility to work weekday afternoons, nights and weekends
• Ability to stand for extended periods of time
• Possibility of assisting with mascot appearances
• Work well in a team environment

Compensation and Benefits :

Student Employment Anticipated Hiring Range : $16.00 - $20.00 per hour.

The compensation offered will consider internal equity and experience among other factors.

Position Information :

Work status : Part-Time, Temporary, Seasonal

Academic year available hours : Monday through Friday (8 : 00 am – 5 : 00 pm).

Summer available hours : Monday through Thursday (7 : 00 am - 5 : 30 pm).

This is an 'On-Campus Only' position. Student Employees are not eligible to telecommute at any time.
