About the Job
At Brandtailers, the Graphic Designer works with the Senior Designer and Art Directors to produce approved design work and complete internal production requirements using computer layout / illustration / pre -press software. In laymen's terms, you'll get to ideate design, and execute all manner of creative for our clients! This means social posts, eblasts, in-store posters, logos and lockups, display ads, print ads, video content and even broadcast television.
DO YOU HAVE THE REQUIRED GOODS?
- Proven graphic designing experience (5 or more years, agency experience is preferred)
- A strong portfolio of graphic design and video work (required)
- Familiarity with design software and technologies (such as InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, Premiere Pro and After Effects)
- A keen eye for aesthetics and details
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to work methodically and meet deadlines
- Web design experience
- Email platform knowledge
- Video / animation experience for a variety of platforms
- Degree in Design, Fine Arts, or related field is a plus
- Tremendous room for growth.
- Conceptualize visuals based on requirements
- Develop illustrations, logos, and other designs using software or by hand
- Use the appropriate colors and layouts for each graphic based on required brand guidelines
- Work with copywriters and creative director to produce the final design
- Amend designs after feedback
- Ensure final graphics and layouts are visually appealing and on-brand
