Middle School / High School Teacher (Tempe)

We are searching for a supportive, enthusiastic teacher to fulfill our students' educational requirements. The teacher's duties include formulating and delivering lessons that are conducted virtually. You will also be required to grade assignments and quizzes and report on students' progress.

To be successful as a teacher, you should create a safe, nurturing environment that is sensitive to students' learning styles. An outstanding teacher will demonstrate an awareness of the environmental factors that influence students' progress in the course.

Responsibilities :

• Create and present lessons that are congruent with students' educational needs.
• Provide communication to students and parents once or twice per week.
• Grade student work within 24-48 hours of being submitted and provide detailed feedback on all submitted assignments.
• Establish rapport with students and parents.
• Encourage students to maintain attendance and academic expectations.
• Promote virtual classroom and tutoring participation.
• Assist with administering standardized assessments.
• Participate in professional development and department meetings.
• Prioritize work and handle multiple tasks while working independently.
• Embrace a culturally diverse environment.
• Additional duties as needed.
