Job Summary :

The Structural Designer serves to work with the project Engineer to efficiently develop 3-D Revit models and produce construction documents of buildings. In addition, the Structural Designer / Technician coordinates with Architects, Engineers, and Designers from other disciplines on project teams to coordinate the designs of the projects.

In this role, you will :

  • Work with Structural Manager and other experienced Engineer on day-to-day tasks
  • Work with all design team disciplines daily
  • Utilize creative insight and practical solutions
  • Research code requirements necessary for each design
  • Assist with the preparation of design presentations for the client
  • Assist with the development and coordination of project documents from schematic design through construction administration
  • Meet established project budgets and schedules

You will be a great fit if :

  • You have an associate degree in an structural-related technology program
  • You have a minimum of 2 years of experience
  • You are proficient in AutoCAD, Sketchup, and other visualization tools
  • Skills / abilities :

  • Sensitive to the need to change their personal behavior quickly in order to effectively communicate and coordinate with others
  • Excellent teamwork and collaboration skills
