The Opportunity

Ulteig is currently seeking qualified candidates for a Transmission and Distribution Designer opening on our Transmission & Distribution team. The T&D Designer supports an assigned group of engineers by preparing construction drawings for transmission line designs with minimal supervision while also providing technical drafting support. The candidate will also utilize PLS-CADD to support the engineering team with transmission line modeling and design work. This position will work under a discipline design lead to successfully complete projects. Candidates must have strong attention to detail and work well within a team.

What You'll Do

• Utilize PLS-CADD to support the engineering team with transmission line modeling, design, and development of project deliverables.
• Utilize LiDAR survey data with PLS-CADD to create 3D models for new and existing transmission lines
• Prepare construction drawings for transmission line designs with minimal supervision while also providing technical drafting support.
• Utilize knowledge of design and 3D modeling to provide technical guidance to other technicians.

Additional Opportunity Details :

Target Base Compensation Range for this role is $73,800 - $99,900
