Description
The Unified Collaboration Team is responsible for supporting, engineering and maintaining collaboration solutions that allow the organization to better service their internal customers, on a global level. This team is a part of a few organization-wide, multi-year projects that will help transform the investment banking organization, aiding in collaboration, creating operational efficiency, and mitigating risk.
Currently their main voice platforms (main one being cisco) are only integrated with Skype for business (currently their main unified communications application) but the team is looking to expand their capabilities to another application. They have yet to select which one but it will likely be MS Teams or Zoom.
Working in Real Time Collaboration Engineering, candidate will be responsible for prototyping, solutioning, road-mapping and technical delivery. The individual is expected to work with a level of independence & drive topics, syndication and communicate vision on complex topics to all levels. Analyse, architect, design and deliver solutions on the Voice platform components. This will involve prototyping, solutioning, blueprints, road-mapping, technical delivery and syndication with multiple stakeholders and peer technical groups through detailed documentation & presentations.
Analyze existing standalone or clustered telephony infrastructure components with engineering and operations teams of ~150 sites.
Architect and engineer Enterprise Voice solution for the above sites aligning with organizations’ cost save initiatives and strategic end state objectives.
Create best practice design, plan and deployment of solution for complete PBX, Voicemail and ISDN elimination in a phased approach incorporating standalone / highly available Session Border Controllers for PBX / Trader Voice interconnectivity, media gateways, centralized SIP trunks etc
