Job Description
As a Senior Environment Artist , you will work independently to create exceptional art, and play a key role in designing the incredible environments for Project Orion - the follow-up to Cyberpunk 2077 and the next major video game in the Cyberpunk franchise.
Daily responsibilities
- Participating in the creation of ideas and plans for locations / levels for the upcoming Orion project.
- Collaborating with the Art Directors and Art Leads to maintain artistic consistency and vision for the game while building uncommon worlds.
- Creating high quality 3D models fitting Project Orion aesthetic.
- Creating high quality, photorealistic textures using various tools and middleware.
- Setting up materials and shaders to achieve the best possible final quality.
- Collaborating effectively with Level Designers, Concept Artists, Environment Artists and every team involved in creating locations.
- Maintaining and improving production and optimization pipelines.
- Putting finishing touches on locations and cutscenes with existing meshes and decals.
- Mentoring and feedbacking team members.
- Being a knowledge base for other artists.
