Cannabis Expo Stage Host / Emcee Volunteer

CannaOne is currently accepting applications for Volunteer Stage Host / Emcee for the Las Vegas - The Summer Show at the Las Vegas Convention Center. Located at 3150 Paradise Rd, Las Vegas, NV 89109.

Shifts will vary depending on availability.

Looking for a way to get involved in the Cannabis Industry?

Volunteering is a great way to get up close with others that are already doing business in the industry. Join the CannaOne Volunteer Team! DUTIES MAY INCLUDE BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO... Assist in loading, set up, operate and tear down of event equipment Provide an Event Hosting / Emcee experience while assisting in the logistical execution of the Conference.

Provide an awesome experience through engagement and interaction with speakers and attendees at the Conference. You will introduce the next speaker, facilitate the attendee questions, prep for the upcoming speakers, and conduct the on-stage give-away. Communicate and work with clients, vendors, event venue and event support staff in the preparation and execution of the Conference. Patiently and professionally troubleshoot issues that arise (equipment or speaker related) Assist in the cleanup of event area at the conclusion of the Conference.

Preferred : Previous experience with emceeing, announcing or hosting events Experienced and comfortable with public speaking Experienced with working with microphones

Volunteers must have excellent people and customer service skills as this position has a high level of guest and speaker contact. This position also involves a lot of walking as part of the job. Volunteers must have a good eye for detail and a strong work ethic. A valid driver's license, clean driving record and personal dependable transportation are also required. Must be over 21 yrs old.
