Description
Position Overview
Shelter House is a community of residents, staff and volunteers working together to provide basic human services for the men and women of the Greater Cincinnati area who are experiencing homelessness. The Community Receptionist is responsible for being the face of Shelter House which includes greeting guests, handling inquiries, setting meetings and managing various office duties.
Essential Job Duties
- Relay incoming and interoffice calls
- Greet all visitors / clients, directing them to the correct offices when necessary
- Accept and sign for packages
- Maintain an organized and sanitary workspace
- Relay all resident messages to the appropriate supervisor
- Maintain sign in sheet for new clients and volunteers
- Run reports in VESTA per requests
- Post daily activities through Yammer network
- Manage the queue in VESTA
- Schedule appointments for clients with Case Managers as needed
- Assist with donations
- Sort, stamp and distribute mail
