Description : JOB SUMMARY :

As the Director of Engineering, you will lead the heart of our hotel operations, ensuring every guest enjoys a seamless and memorable experience. Your expertise will keep our property in impeccable shape, from routine maintenance to major projects, while upholding safety and energy efficiency standards.

WHAT YOU'LL DO :

• Oversee the day-to-day maintenance and engineering operations for the hotel, ensuring all systems function optimally.
• Develop and execute a comprehensive preventive maintenance program to protect the long-term health of the property.
• Manage and motivate a team of engineers and technicians, fostering a collaborative and proactive work environment.
• Respond swiftly to guest and operational needs to ensure seamless service delivery.
• Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal safety regulations, as well as brand and company standards.
• Oversee large-scale repairs, renovations, and special projects, collaborating with vendors and contractors as needed.
• Prepare and manage the department's budget, focusing on cost-effective solutions and sustainability initiatives.
• Maintain energy efficiency across all systems, reducing environmental impact and operating costs.
• Support emergency preparedness by ensuring safety systems are operational and staff is trained.
• Take on additional duties as assigned by management to support the smooth operation of the hotel.
