This 20-employee, Seed Funded firm ($3.3 million in total funding), which has a 39% Demo-to-Close ratio over the last 12 months, is seeking a Founding VP of Sales to hire and lead a team of 10 remote salespeople, who will live in major metro areas across the U.S. This role reports to the CEO and you’ll work from our San Francisco office.

Role
- Senior leadership role, reporting to the CEO and working from their San Francisco office on Montgomery Street.
- 150k base salary, $300k OTE. Uncapped comp plan with accelerators. Meaningful early-stage equity.
- You have led a team that is similar to ours in sales cycle (21 days), deal size (5-15k ACV), and sales velocity (AEs closing 2 to 5 net-new logos per month).
- You must have experience working for an early-stage startup. If you’ve scaled a firm from Series A to Series B, you are at the top of our list.
- Bonus points if you have led a distributed remote team that sells to SMBs in their local area.
- Over the last 12 months, we have had a 40-50% Demo-to-Close ratio, so you’ll be hiring AEs who can generate appointments via phone and in person.
- Your team will typically call on the owner of a fitness club, or a general manager or head of operations.
