Job Summary

Primary function is to supervise attendant services and monitor appropriate staffing and productivity. Coordinates care with the interdisciplinary team, patient/client, their family and referring agency. Directs staff with agency policies and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Promotes the philosophy, mission, and administrative policies of the agency to ensure quality of patient/ client services.
• Supervises and provides direction to subordinates, in an effort to ensure quality and continuity of services.
• Demonstrates commitment, professional growth, and competency.
• Promotes compliance of policies and procedures through education, coaching, and other
• assistance as necessary.
• Monitors systems and identifies problems.
• Directs and coordinates agency attendant services and assumes responsibility for continuity, quality, and safety of services delivered.
• Participates in activities relevant to services furnished including development and assignments of agency personnel.
• Assures that reassessment is performed as appropriate.

Qualifications

• Enjoy working in a one-on-one setting, eager to improve and continuously learn new skills
• Ability to perform all essential job functions with or without accommodations
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation every single day
• Validated ability to act in a compassionate and supportive manner
• Prior experience in a healthcare, hospitality, or in-home care environment (minimum of 1 year)
• Willingness to enforce health and safety standards
