What it's like to be a Ward Clerk at Ward Clerk

As a Ward Clerk at Legacy Nursing and Rehabilitation, you will be the welcoming face of our facility, serving as the first point of contact for residents, families, vendors, and visitors. This role is integral to creating a positive experience, as you will provide courteous and professional front-desk support while managing incoming calls. You’ll greet visitors warmly, assist with inquiries, and ensure that all visitors adhere to our facility protocols.

Your essential duties will include sorting and distributing incoming mail, managing outgoing packages, and maintaining a clean and organized reception area. Additionally, you will provide clerical support to both administrative and nursing departments, handling tasks such as filing, copying, scanning, and basic data entry while upholding HIPAA regulations. Your effective communication with department heads will ensure that messages, deliveries, and visitor concerns are addressed promptly, contributing to smooth daily operations.
