Job description

We have partnered with a client seeking a BILINGUAL Assembly Lead in Dallas, TX!

Title : Furniture Assembly Lead

Location : Farmers Branch, TX - Near Dallas

Salary : $47,000-$52,000

Hours : Mon-Fri 7am-4pm or 8am-5pm + Weekends as needed

About : We are seeking a skilled and motivated bilingual Lead Furniture Assembly Team Member to oversee and coordinate our assembly team specializing in indoor and outdoor furniture. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in furniture assembly, leadership abilities, and excellent problem-solving skills.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Perform assigned projects as communicated from the Production Manager
  • Lead and supervise the furniture assembly team to achieve production goals.
  • Train and mentor team members on assembly techniques and safety protocols.
  • Inspect assembled products for quality and adherence to company standards.
  • Coordinate workflow and assign tasks based on team strengths.
  • Collaborate with management to develop assembly schedules and timelines.
  • Address and resolve issues during the assembly process.
  • Maintain a clean and organized workspace, following safety regulations.
  • Assist in the assembly of furniture as needed, demonstrating best practices.
  • Communicate effectively with other departments to ensure smooth operations.
  • Ad hoc duties as assigned.

Qualifications :

  • Fluency in English and Spanish for effective communication.
  • High school diploma or equivalent; additional technical training is a
  • plus.
  • Proven experience in furniture assembly or a related field (3+ years
  • preferred).
  • Ability to know how and use power tools, various clamps, drills and tool sets to
  • be successful in the role and willingness to learn, develop as new machinery is
  • being introduced
  • Previous leadership or supervisory experience is highly desirable.
  • Ability to read and interpret assembly instructions and technical
  • drawings in both languages.
  • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills in both English and Spanish
  • Familiarity with safety standards and practices in a manufacturing setting, particularly regarding outdoor materials.
  • Ability to lift and move heavy furniture pieces from10 – 100lbs with use of equipment and team lifts as needed, and perform physical tasks such as standing, bending, and lifting for extended periods.
