Come Join our Warehouse Team! Magnolia continues to grow, an offers opportunity for learning and development. We are looking for an organized, detail-oriented leader with solid warehouse experience to join us.
Overview
The Warehouse Lead has general responsibility to assist in coordinating and supervising all warehouse activities on a daily basis. Under the direction of the Warehouse Supervisor / Manager, this position is responsible for directing work assignments in a manner consistent with company service and cost objectives.
Responsibilities
- Work closely with shift leadership to accomplish shift goals
- Oversees and coordinates warehouse processes such as receiving, put away, picking, and loading of products.
- Directs work assignments to employees
- Provide daily hands-on support in Material Handling and Forklift responsibilities
- Drives compliance with safety, quality, and productivity goals in support of warehouse leadership team objectives
- Brainstorms and suggests new ideas on how to improve processes to supervisor
- Communicates professionally, both orally and written to internal and external partners
- Communicate problems, concerns, and ideas to management; assists in finding solutions to problem areas.
- Ensures efficient and safe operation of all material handling equipment
- Trains new and current employees on operational SOPs and Wis
- Ensures the warehouse is clean and orderly; including but not limited to organizing and rotating inventory, maintaining product labels, sweeping warehouse, and assist in staging orders for delivery
- Ensure the product is stored safely and in the proper place.
- Assists in maintaining the security of the warehouse
- Additional duties as assigned by the warehouse supervisor or manager.
