Job descriptionManaging our warehouse operations Train and develop a team Maximizing operations efficiencies Inventory accuracy, storage, distribution, and delivery of materials to our valued customers Labor as % of revenue Warehouse safety and compliance Oversee day-to-day warehouse operations, including receiving, storing, and shipping materials Utilize technology to optimize inventory management, tracking, and order fulfillment processes Lead and motivate a team of warehouse staff, fostering a culture of accountability and teamwork Conduct team 1 : 1s, performance reviews, and other formal and informal meetings Attend weekly Warehouse Manager and departmental meetings Develop and implement efficient warehouse procedures and best practices Ensure a safe and organized working environment, adhering to all safety regulations and protocols Collaborate with other departments to meet customer demands and maintain inventory accuracy Model company behaviors and core values Equipment and machine certifications for teammates Proven experience in warehouse management, preferably in a plumbing supply or similar industry Strong technological aptitude, with proficiency in warehouse management software and systems Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate and mentor a team.
