Express Employment Professionals is looking for a Swing Shift Warehouse Lead for our client in Woodland WA!
Summary : Responsible for daily activities of the warehouse, including shipping, receiving, inventory, and housekeeping. Complies with federal, state, and local warehousing, material handling, and shipping requirements by learning existing and new legislation; enforcing adherence to requirements; advising management on needed actions. Safeguards warehouse operations and contents by maintaining and monitoring security procedures and protocols.
Other Responsibilities Include but are not limited to :
- Supporting production by ensuring pick locations is sufficiently maintained.
- Resolve any production related issues with Production Manager.
- Some office work that involves creating BOLs and receiving documents
- Prepping orders and coordinating drivers as well as unloading and loading trucks
- Facilitate and maintain communication and coordination between shift management team.
- Maintain warehouse team job results by coaching, counseling, and holding associates accountable; planning, monitoring, and appraising job results.
- Coordinate training of new team members and ensure that current team members are receiving ongoing training.
- Ensure damaged cartons are accounted for and processed according to procedures
- Ensure sanitation compliance is adhered to.
- Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
- Operates forklifts safely and efficiently, follow all OSHA safety regulations and perform vehicle safety checks
- Coordinate with Warehouse Manager to ensure continued growth and development of department.
Schedule : Swing Shift 5pm-2am
Pay : $21-$25 an hour DOE
