Job Title : Order Selector

Job Description

We are looking for dedicated and reliable Order Selectors to join our team. The ideal candidate will be comfortable working in a performance-based compensation environment and must be capable of being trained and certified on equipment. This role requires working in a freezer environment, sometimes at temperatures as low as -15 degrees Fahrenheit. Your main responsibility will be to select and prepare orders for shipment by properly staging, palletizing, or boxing them. No computer skills are required for this position.

Responsibilities

• Select and prepare orders for shipment.
• Operate an electric pallet jack.
• Work efficiently in a freezer environment.
• Lift up to 100lbs.
• Ensure orders are properly staged, palletized, or boxed for shipping.
• Maintain a proven attendance record.

Work Environment

This role requires working in a freezer environment, sometimes as cold as -15 degrees Fahrenheit. Each team consists of 12-15 selectors, each with their own picking list. Candidates are advised to wear thick jackets, long johns, or other thermal clothing to stay warm. Most employees find that they acclimate to the cold environment quickly, as the constant movement helps to keep them warm.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of ROCKY HILL, Connecticut.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $22.00 / hr.
