Responsibilities

POSITION SUMMARY :

This position is responsible for coordinating and supervising all warehouse activities on a day-to-day basis. This includes the safe and efficient receipt, storage, pulling and shipment of product in a manner consistent with company, customer service, inventory control, safety and cost objectives.

This position has the responsibility to comply with safety work rules at all times as well as an obligation to reinforce safety as a core value. Ensure that all policies, procedures, and activities related to food safety & quality are followed and complied with uniformly to reduce product and process variability.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES :

• Attend and actively participates in safety meetings and trainings
• Always ensure regulatory compliance
• Responsible for overseeing warehouse, distribution and inventory control functions.
• Responsible for planning and scheduling STO moves based on production schedules to have packaging and ingredient requests delivered to appropriate production facility.
• Must be able to communicate with production, quality, corporate and distribution personnel.
• Responsible for prioritizing projects.
• Ensure the safe and efficient operation of all materials handling equipment.
• Schedule work hours and evaluate performance of each employee.
• Assist Distribution Manager with operational and capital budgeting.
• Responsible for assisting in the planning of equipment, staffing and facility layout for all future operations.
• Maintain accurate inventory control procedures to ensure proper storage and rotation of product.
• Maintain a clean, neat, and orderly work environment
• Perform other duties as assigned.
