Water/Wastewater Project Manager

We invite you to bring your experience in successful project management of preliminary and final design, bidding and construction phase services for municipal water and wastewater projects into play as you implement projects within the Water Market Sector in NYS and the Northeast region with a focus on water and wastewater treatment facilities, pipelines, and pump stations, solids treatment and master planning. To succeed in this role you must have 8+ years' experience in the design of complex municipal water and wastewater systems.

Job Description

Your key tasks and responsibilities will be: This position will be responsible for implementing projects within the Water Market Sector in New York and surrounding Northeast region with a focus on water and wastewater treatment facilities, pipelines, and pump stations, solids treatment and master planning. The Project Manager position is for a person who has demonstrated the ability to manage projects. In addition, expectations are that this position will contribute to the sustainable financial growth of Ramboll, lead high performance teams, mentor future leaders, and motivate employees.

Qualifications

For this role, we believe your starting point is: Strong technical background and experience in design, evaluation and construction of water and wastewater treatment and pumping facilities. Proven project leadership and project management (scope, schedule, and budget). Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. 8+ years experience. Demonstrated successful track record in exceptional client services. B.S. in Civil or Environmental Engineering. Professional Engineering license in New York required with ability to obtain multiple licenses through reciprocity; Personal qualities that will help you succeed in this role include: Strong personnel development skills with experience in engineering and design positions. Proven project leadership, project management (scope, schedule, and budget) and mentoring skills. Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. Excellent interpersonal and communications skills. Excellent team player with the ability to function effectively in a variety of roles on integrated project teams.

At Ramboll, your base pay is only part of your overall total compensation package. At the time of this posting, this role is likely to be compensated at an annual base salary between $115,000 - $144,000. Actual pay may be more or less than the posted range, depending on numerous factors, including experience, geographical location, internal equity, market conditions, education/training and skill level, and does not include bonuses, overtime, or other forms of compensation or benefits.
