In this role, you will engage in a variety of tasks including:

• Conducting preventive maintenance to enhance plant efficiency.
• Establishing and maintaining effective sampling procedures.
• Diagnosing operational challenges and executing corrective actions.
• Preparing detailed reports and collecting samples for laboratory testing.
• Adjusting chemical flow rates and maintaining shift logs.
• Ensuring adherence to safety, health, and operational protocols.

Requirements:

• Must hold a State of Florida Wastewater Treatment Plant Operator's License - Class C or higher.
• Experience applying sound safety principles in the workplace.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Familiarity with engines, pumps, valves, and related equipment.
• Knowledge of biological and chemical sewage analyses.
• Experience with Microsoft Office Suite, data management systems, PLCs, and SCADA systems.
