As a Water Right Engineer, you are responsible for planning, designing, and managing infrastructure systems related to the safe and efficient distribution and treatment of water.

Responsibilities :
- Review and analyze Colorado Water Court decrees
- Estimate historical crop consumptive use
- Estimate lagged depletions and accretions to river systems
- Estimate in-priority water for surface or groundwater diversions, stream basin hydrologic analyses, and occasional fieldwork related to streamflow measurements
- Evaluate diversion sites
- Evaluate reservoir sites
- Provide deep-well drilling observation
- Collect generalized field data
- Other duties as assigned
Qualification Requirements :
The job is primarily in the office with occasional work out in the field, primarily in the State of Colorado. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to stand, walk, and sit; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; and talk or hear. The employee is occasionally required to climb, balance and stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, or walk on uneven surfaces. The employee must occasionally lift and / or move up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this position include close vision, distance vision, and the ability to adjust focus.

For Colorado residents : The pay range for this position is $76,800-$105,600. The range displayed on this job posting reflects salaries for the position based in our Colorado locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by specific work location and additional factors, including education, experience, credentials, and job-related skills. In addition to base pay, certain positions at Moore Holding Company and subsidiaries are eligible for participation in our incentive compensation programs.
