Job Summary

The Boiler / waste water Operator is responsible for the operation of the boiler and boiler processes along with the waste water process.

Essential Duties / Responsibilities

• Starts and shuts down boilers.
• Operates Wastewater and air pollution control system.
• Monitors feed water, boiler water, water softener, and water treatment unit.
• Adds chemicals on a daily basis.
• Performs daily greasing and oiling.
• Assures equipment and work area is clean after each shift.
• Maintains safety as top priority in accordance with all company safety rules and regulations.
• Has mechanical knowledge and ability to cut and weld

Work Environment

Job functions will be carried out in a rendering facility which requires tolerance for wet and / or slippery floors, and high heat and / or cold temperatures.
