About the Role
The Engineering Department at AKRF is seeking a Senior Civil / Water Resources Engineer to work in our New York City office. This individual will serve a key function in the design and management of a broad range of resiliency, green infrastructure, flood reduction projects for both our municipal and private sector clients. The potential candidate will have the opportunity to work in an environment of encouragement and collaboration to help AKRF shape the future of New York.
Job Responsibilities :
- Lead / support the planning, design of climate resilience and adaptation projects including stormwater resiliency and drainage projects in NYC and the Metropolitan Area.
- Prepare engineering drawings and specifications for the following types of projects :
Right-of-way green infrastructure
Hydrologic and Hydraulic (H&H) modeling
Essential Requirements :
Compensation
Compensation will range from $85K to $120K, and commensurate with experience.
