The primary duties for this position are to operate equipment within established guidelines for efficiency, safety, product quality, food safety and customer service. The equipment will include batching, pelleting and packing equipment and other equipment unique to a plant. The operator must be knowledgeable in batching, pelleting and packing procedures and properly document the process as required by Quality and Food Safety procedures.

Qualifications / Skills
High school diploma or equivalent
Pelleting and mixing experience
Committed to work in a safe manner
Be able to read and follow procedures
Complete required paperwork
Operate a forklift
Good computer and math skills
Physical Requirements
Ability to lift and carry at least 55 lbs.
Work in natural climate conditions
Climb ladders, stairs and be physically active throughout the shift
Pre-employment drug screen, physical and background check is required.
