Position Description
This is a public notice flyer to notify interested applicants of anticipated vacancies through the DHA for Domestic Defense Industrial Base Facilities and the Major Range and Test Facilities Base. Applications will not be accepted through this flyer. Interested applicants must follow the directions in the "How to Apply" section of this flyer to be considered. There may or may not be actual vacancies filled from this flyer.
Position Duties / Responsibilities
- You will read and follow chemical procedures to treat industrial wastes.
- You will operate various kinds of equipment associated with wastewater treatment such as chemical flocculation chambers, oxidate chambers, clarifiers and sludge thickeners are required.
- You will assess what the needs of the shift are based on what occurred during the previous shift.
- You will plan, prioritize and organize.
- You will make adjustments constantly by adding chemicals to keep water within regulated standards.
