Compensation: DOP
Schedule: 8:30 a.m.–5 p.m., with some flexibility, participation in an on-call rotation, and ability to cover shifts as needed.

Help lead a team that makes a difference every day.

At The Springs Living, our purpose is to change the way people think, feel, and experience senior living. We create warm, welcoming communities where residents receive personalized care, and employees feel supported in doing meaningful work. The Springs at Tanasbourne is seeking a compassionate, organized Resident Services Coordinator to support our Health Services team. In this role, you will coordinate resident care, support and supervise caregivers, and serve as a key point of contact for residents, families, and staff. If you bring senior living experience, strong communication skills, and a hands-on approach to leadership, we would love to meet you.

What You’ll Do

Coordinate resident care

  • Partner with the Director of Health Services, Health Services Administrator, and other nurses to support quality, individualized care.

  • Develop and maintain resident service plans at move-in, after 30 days, quarterly, and with significant changes of condition.

  • Coordinate quarterly care conferences with residents and families, document discussions, and timely follow through.

  • Support new resident move-ins by coordinating documentation, care tasks, supplies, and communication with the Sales and Health Services teams.

  • Maintain accurate resident records in PointClickCare (PCC), including service plans and point-of-care tasks.

  • Help coordinate medical appointments, transportation, provider documentation, and medical supplies as needed.

  • Lead and support the team

  • Supervise Assisted Living caregivers and medication technicians and provide ongoing coaching, feedback, and performance reviews.

  • Collaborate with staffing and staff development team members to support interviews, onboarding, orientation, and required training.

  • Help ensure employees complete required training and competency documentation before providing care.

  • Monitor attendance and address performance or behavioral concerns in partnership with leadership.

  • Support scheduling, timecard review, payroll processing, and time-off requests.

  • Participate in the staffing on-call rotation, arrange coverage for open shifts, and provide direct care when coverage cannot be secured.

Support quality and accountability

  • Review daily care reports, progress notes, and clinical alerts, and communicate concerns to the appropriate team members.

  • Investigate incidents promptly, coordinate follow-up interventions, and complete required documentation and reporting.

  • Participate in daily team meetings, weekly quality reviews, and audit preparation.

  • Foster respectful communication and a culture of service excellence, teamwork, and accountability.

What You Bring

  • Three to five years of relevant experience, including previous caregiving and/or medication technician experience.

  • Strong knowledge of resident care in a senior living setting.

  • Proven ability to lead, coach, and support a team.

  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to build relationships with residents, families, and coworkers.

  • High emotional intelligence, sound judgment, and a practical approach to problem-solving.

  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to prioritize, delegate, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

  • Ability to understand care documentation, physician orders, and applicable policies and regulations.

  • Proficiency with email, electronic records, databases, word processing, and spreadsheets.

  • Willingness to participate in on-call coverage and work direct-care shifts when needed.

Physical Requirements and Work Environment

This position involves frequent standing and walking, including extended periods throughout the community; lifting up to 50 pounds; and pushing, pulling, bending, twisting, and reaching. The role requires manual dexterity for care tasks and handling supplies. Work may involve exposure to blood and bodily fluids, sharps, animal dander, and latex.

Benefits

  • Health, dental, vision, and supplemental insurance

  • 401(k) with employer matching

  • No-cost telehealth program

  • Flexible Spending Account

  • Paid time off and an additional sabbatical program

  • Scholarship opportunities for employees and their family members

Bring your compassion. Share your leadership. Make an impact.

Join a team committed to supporting residents, families, and one another. Apply today to become our next Resident Services Coordinator at The Springs at Tanasbourne.
