The Role
We are seeking a creative, self-motivated, and detail-oriented Part-Time Social Media and Content Creator to manage and elevate Health at Home's digital presence.
This role is crucial for communicating our brand values, informing the community about our services, and engaging with potential patients, families, and partners across various digital channels.
Key Responsibilities
Content Creation : Develop compelling, high-quality, and HIPAA-compliant content (text, images, short-form video) for regular weekly posting across key social media platforms : Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, TikTok, and LinkedIn.
Blog Management : Write and prepare short, informative blog posts (approx.
one per week) on topics related to home health care, senior wellness, and agency services.
All blog content must be submitted to and approved by management prior to publishing.
Social Media Management : Plan, schedule, and publish content based on the approved weekly content calendar, ensuring a consistent and professional posting rhythm.
On-Site Content Gathering : Conduct light, local travel to senior living facilities, community events, and the main office to capture authentic photos, short videos, and testimonials (with proper consent).
Performance Monitoring : Track, analyze, and report on social media metrics (engagement, reach, traffic) to continuously optimize content performance.
Brand Voice : Ensure all content adheres to Health at Home’s established brand voice—professional, compassionate, and informative.
Qualifications
- Proven experience managing social media accounts and creating compelling content for a business or organization (portfolio required).
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including professional writing for blogs.
- Proficiency with content creation tools (e.g., Canva, video editing apps) and social media scheduling platforms such as Facebook, X, Tik Tok, Youtube, Instagram, and Linkedin.
- Strong understanding of social media trends and best practices across all listed platforms.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively to meet weekly deadlines.
- Experience in or knowledge of healthcare, or, home health, is a significant plus.
- Must have reliable transportation for local travel.
