Please note : this role is for a 6-month contract and reports on-site to our client's office in Santa Monica, CA.

Job Responsibilities :

• Safely ingest, backup, organize and transcode media using Adobe Creative Cloud applications, checksum softwares and DaVinci Resolve Output dailies, stringouts, selects and radio cuts.
• Compile and organize sfx, B-roll and other necessary assets for post production projects Output turnover materials for color and sound (EDLs, XMLs, AAF’s, etc).
• Export and deliver version cuts to Frame.io.
• Clean up and project manage final sequences, and output archival deliverables (high res. texted renders, high res. textless renders, audio stems, and other master file deliverables).
• Collaborate closely with a creative team to build engaging visual stories.
• Assist in the conceptual development of original content.
• Communicate your artistic vision for crafting content.
• Help create animation and motion graphics.
• Communicate with post production team, producers and designers to ensure successful edits.
• Take creative notes and apply them to recut edits.
• Troubleshoot inefficiencies and collaborate on post production optimizations.
• Stay current with the latest trends, techniques and tools related to post production.
• Manage video files and asset library to deliver video files transfers as needed.
• Edit one episode for an Internal News series.
• Edit various short form narrative structures : live action, news, reality, comedy, B-roll, sizzle reels, etc.

Compensation & Benefits :

The compensation range for this position is $64,000-$74,000 (annual salary). This role is a 6-month contract that may extend.
