Job Description
AECOM's Water Business Line is seeking a talented Pipeline Design Project Engineer, with a home base within New England. It is expected that this role will provide support to projects throughout the United States. The candidate will work and learn directly from one of AECOM's globally recognized pipeline design experts.
The ideal candidate will be an enthusiastic geotechnical or structural engineer interested in soil-structure interaction to support : new pipeline design and installation, existing installations, failure and forensics analysis, condition assessment, finite element analysis (FEA), and rehabilitation.

Responsibilities may include but not limited to :
- Collaborate with pipeline design experts to develop and review design and construction plans, specifications, and cost estimates.
- Conduct field inspections and condition assessments to ensure compliance with design standards and regulations.
- Work on projects related to pipeline failure analysis and pipeline forensics analysis.
- Provide technical guidance to AECOM project teams
- Technical writing, reviewing, and providing clear, concise input to investigations, memorandums, or solutions reports.
- Stay current on industry trends and advancements in pipeline design and engineering.
