Position Summary
The Receptionist is responsible for managing patient interactions via phone and assist with administrative task to ensure smooth operations. This role requires a compassionate and professional demeanor, as it involves handling sensitive patient information and provides essential support to our patients and clinic.
Essential Duties And Responsibilities
- Answer incoming calls from patients providing a warm and welcoming greeting.
- Schedule, reschedule and cancel patient appointments using the office's scheduling system.
- Collect and verify patient information including demographics and insurance details.
- Address patient inquiries and concerns with empathy and care, directing them to the appropriate department, when necessary.
- Coordinate with medical staff to communicate patient needs and updates.
- Complete other duties as assigned.
