• Licensed RN in the sate of CT
• Supervise and direct staff according to the facility clinical needs
• Follow up with MD / NP as needed.
• oversee the overall operations of the facility and other departments.
• Monitors lab reports to identify infections.
• Monitors rooms of residents on isolation daily to assure policy compliance.
• Makes infection control rounds on a weekly basis, reports results to necessary departments for corrections. Follows up that corrections were made.
• Maintains facility compliance with OSHA Blood Borne Pathogens Guidelines.
• Keeps Director of Nursing Services informed of all situations through verbal reports, and written reports as needed.
