Job Title : Robotic Welder Operator
Job Description
As a Robotic Welder Operator, you will operate manual and robotic welding equipment to produce high-quality metal assemblies. You will read shop orders and engineering drawings, ensuring all specifications are met while maintaining safety and accuracy in your work. Additionally, you will perform various quality checks, document information accurately, and conduct maintenance on robotic systems and welding equipment.
Responsibilities
- Operate manual and robotic welding equipment to complete required functions.
- Read and interpret shop orders and engineering drawings.
- Safely apply welds according to specifications.
- Produce metal assemblies to quality and efficiency standards, including repetitive lifting and placing of metal pieces into fixtures.
- Measure dimensions of metal pieces to ensure conformance using calipers, micrometers, height gauges, templates, rulers, etc.
- Perform quality checks and report issues to lead and / or supervisor.
- Document and maintain information in written or electronic form accurately.
- Complete finishing functions such as grinding and sanding safely.
- Perform preventive or corrective maintenance on robotic systems and welding equipment.
- Develop robotic path motions to maximize efficiency, safety, and quality.
- Modify computer-controlled robot movements.
- Incorporate quality methods into your work.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $17.00 - $24.00 / hr.
