Job description
Our client, in Benicia, is seeking a Fabricator Level 1 Helper to join their team. As a Fabricator you will be part of the distributor company that provides a wide range of gasket materials, hoses, fittings, textiles, and expansion joints.
Job Title: Fabricator Level 1 Helper
Location: Benicia
Pay Range: $20 an hour
Hours: Monday - Friday 7am-4pm
Some Sat OT depending on business/customer needs.
What's the Job?
Assist in any area of the shop to include the gasket, hose, mechanical seal, cylinder repair and/or conveyor belting departments. Uses various tools to measure, manipulate and cut gaskets and fabricate hoses and other related products. Assist in general shop duties.
What's Needed?
Education and Experience:

High school or equivalent (GED) required.
-
1 year industrial shop experience preferred.
-
1-2 years of Warehouse experience
-
1-2 years of Fabricating experience
-
Basic computer skills preferred.

Must be able to use a tape measure and understand basic math (add, subtract, multiply and divide).
Physical Requirements:

Ability to lift up to 50 lbs on a regular basis

Stand for an extended period
-
Working conditions are in a non-climate controlled environment
