Job Title : Substitute Instructor, Electrical Apprenticeship
Location : Orem, UT
Status : Part-time
Hours : Monday – Thursday, 6 : 00 p.m. – 9 : 00 p.m. as needed
Pay / Hourly : $31.25 - $35.00 hourly
SUMMARY
As a substitute teacher for the Electrical Apprenticeship Program, you will provide instruction to electrical apprentices preparing for journeyman licensure when their regular teacher is unable to lead the class. Our team provides mentoring and training to help new teachers move comfortably from the field into the classroom. Classes are held in Lehi, Orem, Spanish Fork and Heber. RESPONSIBILITIES
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to :
- Attend teacher training meetings
- Attend regular professional development opportunities offered by the college
- Provide effective instruction and facilitate student learning for the program.
- Follow course syllabi
- Follow lesson plans for the class for which you are substituting
- Perform evaluations of student learning, using course objectives as a guide
