Job Title : Robotic Welding Operator
Job Description
The Robotic Welding Operator will operate the the person, DX-100 Welding Work Center. The individual will be responsible for programming various types of robotic welding set-ups, machine preparation / fixturing, and overseeing the robotic welding and weld finishing operations to manufacture products according to customer specifications and requirements.
Responsibilities
- Proficiently program the the person, DX-100 Welding Work Center.
- Perform other assigned welding techniques, including Tig and Mig welding.
- Interpret mechanical drawings, including weld symbols.
- Apply knowledge of wire and filler materials for various steel alloys, aluminum, and other metals.
- Set up fixturing and weld parameters such as amps and volts.
- Utilize conventional hand tools and precision measuring instruments.
- Conduct process inspections, certifications, and documentation independently.
- Perform regular preventive maintenance on welding equipment.
- Provide and maintain personal tools.

Work Environment
The work environment is a manufacturing shop plant where you will be exposed to vibration, moving mechanical parts, and other manufacturing tools. The first shift runs from 5 : 00 am to 1 : 30 pm, with additional hours as needed.
Job Type & Location
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Chicago, Illinois.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $26.00 / hr.
