Job descriptionOversee urine analysis (U / A) testing and maintain accurate documentation in the EMR. Monitor self-administration of medication and document thoroughly. Conduct intake assessments and manage client consents efficiently. Perform patient rounds every 30 minutes to ensure safety. Record vital signs including blood pressure and pulse. Conduct contraband searches and random room inspections. Lead group activities, outings, and educational sessions. Transport clients to meetings and appointments as needed. Provide crisis intervention as necessary to foster a healthy environment. Adhere to all regulations and ethical standards consistently. Engage in team meetings and training sessions for continuous improvement. Strong understanding of medical terminology and procedures. Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment. Familiarity with the 12-step recovery model. Commitment to professional ethics, including confidentiality. Proficiency in basic computer skills and EHR systems. Basic knowledge of internal and external referrals. Strong teamwork and collaboration skills to offer high-quality care. Attention to detail and organizational skills. Current certification as a SUDRC or RADTI. High School Diploma or equivalent. Preferred experience in a clinical or healthcare setting. We are on the lookout for dedicated and compassionate Behavioral Health Technicians for Swing Shift to support our vision at Wellness Detox of LA, a thriving member of the Quadrant Health Group. As a vital part of our team, your contributions will enhance client experience and assist in empowering individuals to achieve their therapeutic goals.
Your Role :
As a Behavioral Health Technician, you will collaborate with the treatment team to ensure the well-being of clients and the program's efficacy. You will report directly to the Director of Operations.
Key Responsibilities :
Client Interaction & Support :
- Work the SWING SHIFT - 3 PM to 11 : 30 PM
- Establish and nurture professional, supportive relationships with clients and staff.
- Offer emotional support and guidance to clients and their families.
- Ensure clients' comfort and safety within the residential environment.
- Document client behavior and report observations to clinical staff while maintaining strict confidentiality.
