We specialize in arctic and subarctic projects in rural Alaskan communities with a focus on sanitation improvements, project management and design, and planning for environmentally threatened communities.

Design Engineer I
Description : Engineering and Project Management
Seeking motivated design engineer for Anchorage, Fairbanks, or Tok office locations. The Design Engineer I shall be registered as a Civil Engineer in good standing in the State of Alaska (or have the ability to obtain registration within 6 months of the date of hire) with 3 to 5 years of experience. Position involves development of plans, specifications, and cost estimates for water / wastewater, solid waste, infrastructure improvements, and project planning for threatened communities across Alaska. Ideal candidate will have experience and be familiar with plans, specifications, regulatory / environmental permitting, and site control issues. Knowledge of principles of engineering and construction, including design of health and sanitation facilities in arctic / northern climates is preferred. Strong written and oral communication skills are a must. Travel to rural Alaska by small aircraft is required.
This position requires the capable handling of multiple tasks and responsibilities simultaneouslyon a daily basis, as well as a professional approach to all facets of company business including skillful oral and written communication with company associates and fellow employees.
