Job Title : Low Voltage Technician – Network Cabling & Wireless Installation

Job Summary :

We are seeking an experienced Low Voltage Technician to install, terminate, test, and label CAT6 network cabling and install wireless access points for an office and warehouse environment. The ideal candidate will have experience with structured cabling, ladder racks, conduit installation, and grounding / bonding practices.

Key Responsibilities :

Install a 2-post rack with ladder racking for cable management and seismic support in the IDF.
Ground and bond the 2-post rack per industry standards.
Install, terminate, test, and label :

24) CAT6 plenum-rated data cables for wireless access points.

36) CAT6 plenum-rated data cables for workstations and printers in the main office .

14) CAT6 plenum-rated data cables for workstations and printers in the mezzanine office .

28) CAT6 plenum-rated data cables for workstations and printers in the warehouse .

Install and mount :

21) Cisco Meraki CW9166i-MR indoor wireless access points.

3) Cisco Meraki MR76 outdoor wireless access points with (6) MA-ANT-20 outdoor antennas.

Run EMT conduit for network cabling in open warehouse areas and a 2-inch EMT conduit for the sales counter.

Ensure all installations meet industry standards, safety regulations, and customer requirements .

Qualifications & Skills :

2+ years of experience in low voltage cabling, network installation, or related field.

Knowledge of structured cabling, grounding, bonding, and cable management .

Experience with EMT conduit installation for network cabling.

Ability to read and interpret floor plans and installation blueprints .

Familiarity with Cisco Meraki wireless access points (preferred but not required).

Must be comfortable working at heights and using lifts or ladders.

Strong troubleshooting skills and attention to detail.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Must have a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.

Work Conditions :

Work will be completed during normal business hours .

Work may involve lifting up to 50 lbs, standing for extended periods, and working in warehouse environments .
