Job Description
Litigation Legal Assistant will provide essential support to attorneys handling a variety of civil litigation cases. This role requires a strong understanding of legal procedures, excellent organizational skills, and a keen attention to detail.
Legal Research : Conduct thorough legal research using various databases and resources to support attorneys in developing case strategies.
Document Preparation : Draft and prepare legal documents, including pleadings, motions, briefs, and discovery requests.
Case Management : Organize and maintain case files, ensuring that all documents are properly indexed and filed.
Discovery Support : Assist with discovery processes, including collecting, reviewing, and producing documents.
Calendar Management : Manage attorneys' calendars, scheduling appointments, court appearances, and depositions.
Client Communication : Respond to client inquiries and maintain effective communication with clients.
Trial Preparation : Assist with trial preparation, including organizing exhibits, preparing witness lists, and supporting attorneys during the trial.
Administrative Tasks : Handle administrative tasks, such as photocopying, scanning, and filing.
Must have 3 plus years of litgation experience.
