Job descriptionYou should be at least in your final year of undergraduate studies and enjoy working on cutting-edge products like robots! This position is based in Plano, TX. There is not an option for remote work or relocation. Portfolio with at least three writing samples showing your experience and expertise. We encourage subject matter that shows what you are passionate about. Enrollment in a degree program at an accredited university, technical writing preferred. Familiarity with topic-based writing style, structured authoring, and single-sourcing. Ability to research writing standards and practices. Familiarity with Adobe FrameMaker, MadCap Flare, or similar tools. Self-motivated, able to work and contribute in a team environment and independently. Willing and able to learn new technology and software and eager to share your knowledge and experience with the rest of the team. Attention to detail and technical accuracy. Office and manufacturing settings, OPEX Corporation facility in Plano, TX. Using MadCap Flare. Writing documentation aimed at mechanical and software technicians. Working with multiple different writers with up to 30+ years of experience. Learning to create and adjust internal documentation processes. Obtaining feedback from training classes. Learning about the Warehouse Automation industry and our machines.

Responsibilities
- Create content in MadCap Flare.
- Assist with moving content from Adobe FrameMaker to MadCap Flare.
- Attend engineering meetings to learn about communication with SMEs.
- Create documentation about internal processes that can be retained for use in portfolios.
