Position : Assistant Yard Coordinator

Location : Hayward, CA

This is a no experience, willing to train, yard position for a hardworking, organized, and focused worker in a fast-paced, multitasking workplace. Loading and unloading the fleet, managing inventory, and providing service assistance to ensure that all equipment / attachments, are inventoried, well maintained, inspected, and kept organized are among the daily responsibilities. This position is also in charge of ensuring that all incoming and leaving shipments run smoothly.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Assist with semi-truck loading and unloading as well as cleaning equipment.
• Examine the contents and compare them to documents such as manifests, invoices, and orders to ensure that the arriving or exiting shipment is accurate.
• Maintain and organize the shop and yard by keeping it free from excessive debris and trash.
• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications :

To execute the core functions of this job, an individual must be able to do the following additional activities in addition to sitting, standing, walking, reading, talking, writing, and hearing : Lift and / or move up to 50 pounds on occasion.Accommodations will be made if they are reasonable, do not cause undue hardship, and allow a person with a disability to safely perform essential job functions.Long durations of standing, seasonal exposure to heat and cold, dealing with oils and greases, noise, working outside, stooping, bending, squatting, or working in a prone position are all possibilities.
